Engagement Scope

The Sutor Group was engaged by Baugh Construction to assist in the preparation of a price proposal for equitable adjustment. Our claim quantification impacts totaled $1,084,580.

Project description

The contract was for the restoration and renovation of Edens Hall at the campus of Western Washington University. The building is a 50,000 square foot four story housing structure built in 1921. The scope of work included bringing the building up to the latest seismic codes (including concrete shearwalls and structural upgrades), as well as all new mechanical and electrical systems and architectural finished both inside and out.

Differing site conditions, owner imposed changes and accelerated performance.

Type of impacts

Labor and equipment impacts resulting form disruption and changes in work sequence. Both extended field and home office overhead impacts.
