The Sutor Group was jointly engaged by two of the defendants in this lawsuit, Idaho Transportation Department and Western Ash, Inc.(the concrete fly-ash supplier).

Project description

The project involved demolition and replacement of Portland Concrete roadway slabs on Interstate 84 near Boise, Idaho. The roadway sections involved approximately 1 mile of the east and westbound lanes of the interstate.

Entitlement issues

Causation of mix failure causing cracking and spalling of concrete slabs.

Type of impacts

Overtime, project delay, acceleration, repair costs, labor inefficiency, equipment costs, field and home office overhead costs, consequential damages on other projects.
